430,000 MILES WITH ZERO OIL CHANGES

Jeff Ryan installed his Gulf Coast Model O-2 on his New Western Star in 2001. Jeff changed the Gulf Coast Filter elements and pulled oil samples every 10,000 miles. At the time these photos were taken, September 27th, 2004, Jeff had run 430,000 miles with zero oil changes. Jeff has also used the Gulf Coast Oil Analysis Program since the truck was new and at 430,000 miles Gulf Coast Filters called Jeff to inform him his last oil sample had signs of a coolant leak. Gulf Coast Filters recommended that Jeff go to the nearest Cat Dealer and have the engine checked. The coolant leak was found and the engine was repaired and is now back on the road. Jeff had pulled 42 perfect samples and the 43rd caught the coolant leak.
